The Process
Consultation & Patch Test
We discuss your desired colour, review your hair history and condition, and book a patch test 48 hours before your appointment. This is mandatory for all new clients and after any gap longer than 6 months.
Colour Application
Your colourist mixes the chosen shade and applies it with precision, ensuring even coverage from root to tip. Development time varies by product and shade chosen.
Rinse, Tone & Condition
After rinsing, a toner may be applied to perfect the shade. A deep conditioner is then applied to seal the cuticle and restore shine, followed by a professional blowdry.
Aftercare Advice
Wait 48–72 hours before your first wash after a colour treatment
Use a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner
Avoid chlorinated swimming pools or wear a cap to protect colour
Book your next appointment before your colour fades significantly
Use a weekly conditioning mask or bond-repair treatment

- Why do I need a patch test?
- Patch tests are a vital safety measure. They detect any allergic reaction to the colour products before we apply them to your whole head. We require a patch test 48 hours before any new colour service. This is non-negotiable - it's for your safety.
- What is grey blending?
- Grey blending is a technique that works with your natural grey rather than trying to completely cover it. Using balayage, toning or root smudging, we create a soft, natural-looking blend between grey and coloured hair. It requires less frequent maintenance than full root coverage and gives a beautifully lived-in result.
- Can I go lighter without bleach?
- You can lift up to approximately 2–3 shades with a high-lift permanent tint without bleach. Beyond this, a lightener/bleach is required. We'll always advise you on the safest approach at your consultation.
